How To Treat PCOD During Conception?

Hi I am reetu 25 yr and diagnosed with pcod a day ago..I am actively trying to conceive so what are my chances of getting pregnant soon?I am desperate and worried as well..i don t have any symptoms of pcod nd I have regular periods as well. it was diagnosed on routine USG.plz help.

Hello,

As you don't have any symptoms of PCOD, you don't need to worry. It is an incidental finding. The following are few tips to be remembered:
1) As you have regular periods, your chances of conception are very high
2) If you are obese, you need to reduce weight
3) People with PCOD are more prone to type 2 diabetes mellitus. So keep checking your sugar levels every 6 months
4) If you are still worried, you can consult a gynecologist to know the intensity of your PCOD and any treatment if necessary
