Hello,

The HPV is known to be the cause of colum uteri cancer. There are several types of HPV some are at high risk of causing cancer like 16 and 18 ect and some other HPV have lower risk of causing cancer. You can do a HPV test to check if you have an increased risk of colum cancer. This will also help you in the decision of hysterectomy. Also take in consideration other facts like cysts and fybromyoma.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
