How To Stop Bleeding After Missing Microgynon Pills?

Hi i missed one of my pills from my pack of microgynon tablets about a week after my 7 day break i missed it on the saturday and began to bleed today, monday im not sexually active so wondering if the quickest way to stop the bleed is to have another brake or to continue to take the pill

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, the better way would be to go ahead with the pill course since stopping midway can lead to exaggeration of symptoms. Since pregnancy is out of question, the hormone imbalance is corrected through addition of a progesterone for 10 -15 days for a couple of months and observed. Styptics can be used prior to the application to help arrest the bleeding. However, clinical evaluation is mandatory to detect any other complications like coagulopathy etc. Hope this helps.
