How To Reduce Reoccurring Asthmatic Attack In Children?
My child is suffering from asthmatic symptoms since last 1 day. We are giving him asthalin nebuliser once in 3 hrs as we can hear his sound coming while inhaling. This is the 4th attack in last two months. Only this year this frequency is high. Otherwise it was occurring once or twice during a year. His elder brother has also suffered from this. Can you tell how this frequency of asthmatic attack can reduce and any other medicines we can take. He is 6 years and two months old.
Hi and thanks for the query, The management of asthma in children might be challenging. An active search of the allergen and control of aggravating factors remain a key aspect in the care. Continuous availability of drugs to be used in case of a crisis like Ventoline spray is important. there exist long term therapy going for over months these days that could permit the child to be symptoms free for relatively long periods. the opinion of a pulmonologist could be helpful.
