Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you are on a balanced diet, exercise regularly but still you have difficulty lossing weight ,than i deduct that you may have hypothyroidism. For this reason,if you were my patient i will suggest to do the thyroid test TSH,fT3 and fT4 to understand if you have any thyroid condition that can explain this situation. The irregular menses are another symptom of hypothyroidism. So,the thyroid tests are very important to clarifies your situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
