My son recently went for bloodwork and something was abnormal and they want him to see a specialist. He does not know what type of specialist they want him to see. He is 22 years old and went to see the Dr. about lower back pain and had an Cray. They were more concerned about the bloodwork. What could this be

I really appreciate your concern, it is not mentioned here what kind of blood test being done and what abnormality being detected and not even described the symptoms that patient has if this is just a backache then it may not reflect any abnormality in blood test, without knowing the end result of blood test nothing can be advise in right way hope this information helps.
