How To Overcome The Sour Smell Coming From My Skin Even After A Shower?

I have a sour smell coming from my skin. It started about two months ago. I shower every day, but the smell comes right back. I have tried non-scented soap, antibacterial soap, regular soap, vinegar, Arm and Hammer, different colognes. Nothing seems to work. My clothes also smell as a result of the problem. Is there anything that you could suggest that would help?

Hi,

I can understand your concern to o overcome the sour smell coming from your skin even after a shower.

Your condition is known as " Bromhidrosis". In humans body odor is primarily the result of the apocrine sweat glands, which secrete the majority of chemical compounds needed for the skin flora to metabolize it into odorant substances.

Body odors is mainly caused by skin glands excretions and bacterial activity. Factors such as food, drink, and diseases can affect body odor. An individual's body odor is also influenced by lifestyle, sex, genetics, and medication.

So I suggest you to do complete life style modification including your diet with simple food, wearing cotton clothes to be changed two time daily and reducing your outdoor activities.
