Suggest Treatment For Foul Body Odour

I have a family member that the body odor has changed, but takes many showers. It is a skunky smell just not as strong as a skunk. This member has a swollen gland or limph note. Says they feel fine. Just worried. The other family members don t smell this as I do, just in the bedroom. Please help in anyway. Thank you

Hello,

Foul odor of the body commonly occurs due to poor hygiene & wrong diet. Bad body odor is also when sweat mixes with the bacteria on the skin. It is very important to keep the body clean & dry.

Wash the genitals & armpits (to keep the Apocrine glands clogged free). These glands produce a thick, transparent liquid, which when it mixes with bacteria on the skin & dries, produces bad odor.

The soles of the feet and the palms of the hands, forehead, cheeks, and armpits should also be washed and cleaned & kept dry, they have eccrine glands that produce sweat.

Avoid foods like garlic, onions, cumin, high fiber content veggies such as cabbage, cauliflower, and kale change the body odor. Avoid taking asparagus.

Avoid stress, reduce obesity. Take plenty of water. Use antiperspirant, deodorant & antibacterial soap.

Get treated for any fungal infection. Use anti-fungal powder before wearing shoes & socks.

Wear leather shoes which has ventilation. Do not use rexin shoes. Use sandals most of the time than closed shoes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
