Hi doctor, My child is 3 year s old and he is suffering from lever problem since 2 year.I have do SGPT test and test report show SGPT is 380 url.He is also suffering from Daria from two time.Please advise me what can i do and who s medicine take? now i give xymex syrup advise by doctor.Thanks

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Before taking any medicines, the right cause of his liver marler elevation should be established. GGt is sign of acute or chronic liver damage, it can be seen in gilberts syndrome or in bile duct disorders so you need to see child gastroenterologist first and do liver ultrasound and additional blood tests. Xymex syrup may not be efficient in most liver diseases. Only when diagnosis is established then treatment can be planned.
