Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Seems to have developed an irritant reaction to glycolic acid. Glycolic wash /peel should not be done on the same day of waxing or threading or shaving because of the risk of irritant reaction and consequent hyperpigmentation

If i was the treating doctor i would have asked you to use a moderately potent steroid cream e.g fluticasone cream twice daily for a week which should make it fine.

take care
regards
