How To Get Rid Of Swollen And Yellowish Body When Recovering From Dengue?
Hello my mother aged 52 was suffering from dengue since last six days, but now his platelet count is normal. However her sgot and sgpt levels have risen to around 20 times than the normal levels and the whole body appears to have swollen and yellowish. Doctors are claiming that this is due to adverse impact of dengue upon the lever. Please clarify whether it is very serious or critical issue or it can tackled with medicines. Her BP is 60/100 and she is not interested in eating and drinking anything. What could be the reasons and controls?
Hi, i do care for your concern. This indicates the complication of dengue virus, this condition should be looked upon with a matter of concern. This high level of liver enzymes indicates an ongoing liver injury, and may cause drastic effects. This can be managed by fluid replacement, crystalloids, correction of coagulopathy broad spectrum antibiotics to treat the condition. The treatment mainly depends upon laboratory values. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Thank you
