Psychiatrist Dr. Amar A Rathi's  Response
Hi,
I dont know about how is other milestones...if it also delayed then dont worry...

Stammering tends to be most common in young children and has often resolved spontaneously by the time the child is older. The typical age of onset is 2 to 7 years of age with a peak at age 5 years. Estimates are that up to 3 to 4 percent of individuals may have Stammered at some time in their lives. Approximately 80 percent of young children who Stammer are likely to have a spontaneous remission over time.Preschoolers and school-age children who Stammer exhibit an increased incidence of social anxiety, school refusal, and other anxiety symptoms.

So meet to psychiatrist and speech therapist..who will guide u.Management includes
combinations of behavioral distraction, relaxation techniques, and directed speech modification. Also newer one is self-therapy,restructuring fluency etc.
