My husband has been getting tired at night, with dizzy spells, as he has just started creon because of a Chronic Pancreatitis, he reacted one other time like this and we thought it was depression because of his disease, and actually thought he may have been dying at the time, so it made it worse. Also at this time he was taking an prescription enzyme, but was only on them for about 4-6 weeks. I don't know very much about prescription enzymes and the side effects like this, but I find it strange this is happening again. It just started tonight again, but it was better after he ate something and now he says he isn't as tired. He has type 2 diabetes, but he always does a good job controlling it with diet and exercise. He is 34 years old, is 5'11",and he weighs 125 lbs, as he has lost a lot of weight because of the pancreas divisium. They did try a operation with a stint back in February, to open his duct, but it didn't help his chronic pain, although he does have less acute attacks. He is on a low fat diet because of his condition. My question is could enzymes do this to some people, or could it be his body needing to adjust to the enzymes, or if the dosage may be too high, he only takes 3 with each meal, one with a snack, usually 9-11 a day, dosage is 12000 for each pill.
