Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been dealing with an addiction to pain killers for around 2 years now. I wish to deal with this privately. I have dealt with the issues that caused me the need to take the pills, as well as adopted healthy habits to replace those cravings. I eat healthy, do cardio and weight bearing exercise, and recently picked up yoga. The yoga works wonders with calming my mind which before I used the Vicodin. I was also given a Brahmi rasayana to ease my anxiety. I at this point only take one or two and wish to taper off soon. Am I on the right path or should I seek professional help?
