How To Get Over The Knee Pain Due To Twist With History Of Early Osteoarthritis And Chondromalacia Patella ?
I do have early onset osteoarthritis and chondromalacia patella that was diagnosed several years ago by orthopedic surgeon (MRI). I some how twisted that knee I believe. I have pain immediately below knee cap going down and coming around the inside of the knee. I have did an x-ray and it showed nothing. I have had with this intense shooting pain especially when bend the knee or forget and bend knee even in my sleep. Also had a brief episode of numbness, coldness and tingling. I am doing the r.i.c.e. and taking 800mg of ibuprofen as instructed. How long do I need to wait before going back to my primary doctor and see about getting a mri done? No, the ibuprofen doesn't help the pain at all, only if I keep the leg stretched out, stay off my feet and move very super slow with it being keep straight when I get up or walk. Tender to even touch.
