How To Diagnose And Treat Side Effects Caused From Levaquin?

What type of doctor should I see re levaquin adverse effects? I have seen my pcp, the hospital ( for tendon tear)an xray there a follow-up with orthopedist MRI and ct scan there with specialty boot molded to my leg for over a month, no relief, went to see my PcP again and was sent to podiatrist/foot specialist who took another MRI and put me in soft cast and another type boot.a month later he gave me PRPT injection and am still in cast and boot going on 5th week post PRPT ..I am at wits end with no cure in sight with a myriad of other levaquin side effect symptoms that are adversely affecting my life terribly. I don t know what type of doctor to see..no one is helping with the Achilles damage or even addressing the other adverse symptoms. Help !!

Ok, the effect of Levaquin on tendons would be while it is there and not when it isn't. Then there is the question of tendon healing.

This takes a long time. While tendons are weakened by Levaquin, the method for treatment and recovery would be the same.

Maybe some surgery and certainly rest and gradually increasing the work load on the tendon. This is something any orthopedic physician would treat.
