How To Cure Vaginal Yeast Infection?

I have a couple questions regarding vaginal yeast infections. I recently saw my Gynecologist for my yearly check-up. I was tested for a yeast infection and tested positive and didn't know I had one. I didn't have any itching or soreness, I had a little discharge and an unusual odor. I thought I had a bacterial infection, like I had last year when I saw her. It seems like I have problems keeping a balance. I took a Diflucan pill, but how do I keep it from coming back. If I eat a serving of yogurt every day, will that help?

Hello madam, from the history you have given, well candida infection is a common infection in women. To prevent reoccurance you need to maintain proper personal hygiene. Clean your vagina whenever you use the restroom. Also drink lots of water. If you are sexually active, void after the act.And whenever infection is detected you need to complete the whole course of antibiotics. Hope i was helpful to you.
