How To Cure Infected Finger Which Looks Like Ingrown Nail / Paronuchia Along With Blisters?

My daughter has infected finger which looks to be ingrown nail or paronychia along with the blisters which have spread over the back and sides of her finger now. She is twelve years old and has been on Sulfa antibiotic 4 days now and been soaking in Epsom salt once per day also for 4 days and using Neosporin. The blisters have spread a bit in last 4 days instead of clearing up. What else can I do?

Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is the in growth of the nail, called the paronichea and the pus is held in the pocket made by the nail and the antibiotic can't reach there. The other reason is the constant irritation by the nail, and inflammation.
She may need to remove the nail, and treated with the local and systemic antibiotics.
So I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Let her take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have blood, general health and resistance against infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
