Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
After giving Vitamin D in the right dose the healing starts after 2 weeks and it can be seen on x-ray as line of preparatory calcification.
Complete healing takes place by 2-4 months.
Slight bony defects get corrected over a period of time while the child is growing.
Till such time continuous supply of vitamin D in recommended doses along with calcium and phosphorus.
Giving vitamin D containing foods in the diet and exposure to sun shine regularly.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
