Suggest Treatment For Bowed Legs In A Child
hello, my son is 2yr old and he has bow legs that we have watched to straighten for 2yrs now. he has been placed on calcium and vit D medication for almost a year now cos it was discovered he had traces of rickets, how long do we wait for it to be straight?

Mild bowing of legs is common in toddlers (1-3 yrs). If you are on vitamin D and calcium then the symptoms will be all right soon. Sun exposure is essential for growing bones. The ideal time would be between 11 am to 3 pm, a minimum of 20-40 minutes in a week is enough. So he will be alright soon.
