How To Cure Bump With Clear Liquid On Labia Minora?
On my right flap of my Labia minora, there is a bump that appears to be underneath the skin. It itches sometimes and when I scratch, it swells and gets bigger. When i scratch, clear stuff and blood ooze out. I have had protective sex and I m scared that maybe it is a std.
Hello and welcome to HCM, A bump on labia minora filled with clear fluid and blood could be due to a cyst or infection in that region. Common infection in this region is infection and inflammation of Bartholins gland. Infection of Bartholins gland is usually painful and the gland is filled with fluid and blood. Possibility of sexually transmitted disease (STD) is low. However, clinical assessment of the bump is required for diagnosis and thus treatment. In the meanwhile do not scratch the bump otherwise it will increase and spread the infection.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
