Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear madam, Here in India, we generally try to add Metformin for our Type II Diabetes patients. As far as your sugars are concerned, my suggestion would be
1) to go for a basal bolus regimen. This would give you the freedom of dose adjustment as per your sugar readings.
2) monitor your blood sugars more frequently
3) consult a Diabetologist with the readings.
4) It is safe to conceive with a fasting blood sugar of less than 110 and PPBS less than 160.
This would be the practical line of management when you want to conceive fast.
Hope i have answered your query.Wishing you the best.
