How Should I Treat My Double Joint Problem?

My upper body feels like it is burning. When this has happend in the past my doctor has said it is costochondritis. However I must mention that my neck has been making a lot of cracking and popping noises(there was a large crushing sensation at the top of my neck base of my skull without pain) and my spine seems to be cracking, popping and moving more than usual. I also should mention my shoulders move out of the sockets randomly. Doctor said this is because I am double jointed . I ve had X-rays a while ago of my upper back and nothing was found. I also should mention I have twitching on and off in some parts of my body including my fingers, face and legs.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Since your problem is there for a long time- there is nothing alarming at present.

However, I suggest that you start Neck and Back muscle strengthening Exercises ASAP.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel,
