General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The dose of the mentioned drug is 100 mg daily. But dose adjusted According to kidney function. So kidney function should be checked by urea, creatinine estimation.

It is used only in chronic, acute hepatitis. In a fresh, first attack of acute hepatitis, it is not recommended. So, consult a gastroenterologist for examination before starting the medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
