How Safe Is To Take Metformin 500mg For Diabetes?
I am 35 yrs male. Today I went to hospital due to fever and tiredness but I got blood sugar level is 196mg and he say I am diabetic and recommend to take metformin 500mg and typhoid medicine. Should I take sugar tablet as I am diabetic or I have to take other test

sugar levels of 196 are almost sure of having diabetes and hence you can start the metformin.
METFORMIN is one of the most safe medicine for control of blood sugar levels in diabetes.
There is absolutely no harm in taking it.You can simultaneously take both metformin and medications for typhoid infection.
