How Safe Is Taking Clomid And Steroid Shot Together?

am currently on day 17 of my cycle. I took clomid on days 5 through 9. I have a horrible sinus infection and the doctor wants to give me a steroid shot, will it interfere with anything at this point in my cycle? Or for any following cycle, I read that it can interfere with ovulation but what exactly does it do?

Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) A single dose of steroid should not be having any effect on your ovulation process. As even most long acting steroid has its action for 12 hours.

3 ) Also it will not have any effect on your subsequent cycle.

4 ) I will suggest to have steam inhalation, warmsalt water gargles. This will help you reduce common cold and sinus related problems .
