How Much Damage Have I Caused And How To Treat Pain After Eating Hot Food?
on monday i ate a really hot piece of food and felt it move all the way down into my stoamch. I had to hold onto something while swallowing, thats how painful it was. I now have upper back pain after eating. How much damage could i have caused and what should i do to fix it
your query is somewhat unusual. Normally if food is too hot generally it is thrown out of mouth thorough spinal reflex immediately. However by chance you have swallowed, you may have burning sensation from oral cavity to stomach. Normally our digestive walls protected with mucosa and some mucus over it. If you feel burning constant and pain is continuous, you must consult doctor immediately. If pain is decreasing and not continuous, you can take over the counter medicines like rantac or pentoprazole for 2 days. Even after these if pain continue , you should consult the doctor.
