How Long Should Levox Be Continued For Increased Pus Cells In Urine?
i just want to consult the result of my urinalysis.. my first urinalysis result was 35-40 pus cells in my urine. my doctor told me to take levox 500mg once a day for 5 days. when i repeated my urtine test after 5 days, the pus cells result trimmed odwn to 10-15. my doctor said that i still need to take Levox for another 3days... after that I had my urinalysis again last May 16, 2011 and the pus cells result was 0-2. I had my urine test again a while ago but in a different laboratory center and it turned out that my pus cells went up to 10-15 again. what will i do? what can you advise me to do doctor?

As there are alterations in your pus cells count, there seems to be a threat of antibiotic resistance or inadequate effect of the medicine.
In our clinic, we recommend to undertake a urine culture report, and only then get antibiotic prescriptions in accordance to the report to cure this faster.
Till that time, continue to take plenty of liquids, take cranberry sachets for best results.
