General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Almost life long. Clopidogrel is an anti-platelet (blood thinner) prescribed to lower your risk of having a stroke, blood clot, or serious heart problem after you have had a heart attack.

Prolomet is a heart-selective beta blocker which controls your blood pressure and also to treat complications associated with the heart attack.

Flavidon-MR is an anti-anginal drug useful for the treatment and prevention of angina pectoris (chest pain).

Since these medicines prevent the complications and recurrence of heart attack hence they need to be taken for life long.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
