How Long Does Viral Fever Last?
Hello Doctor. How long does a viral fever last ? Is it safe to give Calpol 500mg tablet to my boy at the time of fever ? Also he has a cough, can i give him Levolin inhaler? Although it has not been used in the last 6-8 months, can i use it now? Age 10 years. Thanks

Hello dear. My name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka and i understand your concern. A viral fever lasts 5 to 7 days and up to two weeks to recover completely from cough and other signs. You can use acetaminophen or ibuprofen for fever. be sure to read the expiration date to medications (Levoline) . Best regards
