How Can Viral Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi doctor, My baby is 11 months old..2 weeks ago she had viral fever..Her doctor preferred CEFIXIME..After 5 days the fever was over...Now i have got viral fever..My baby has about 37.4*C temperature today..Is there chance of relapse of viral fever within 2weeks?Is DOLO syrup sufficient for her?

Hi,

Viral fever can relapse after the antibiotic course for one particular strain at any time interval.

Primary care towards anti pyretic suspension as Dolo, later on, consideration of antibiotic if the fever persists beyond 48 hours on the persistently high level. Wish your toddler best recovery.
