How Long Does My Mothefr Have To Take Livial Medicine Since She Is On Insulin And Taking B.P And Cholesterol Medicines Also ?

Hi,, My mother is 55 years old and her ovaries and uterus have been removed 6 years berfore. From that time she is on Livial medicine. How long she should take these tablets? She is diabetic and on insulin and taking B.P and Cholestrol medicines too. Thanking You in advance

Hi,thanks for query.The medicines that she is taking is hormone replacement given due to removal of ovaries.You should talk to your doctor and now she gradually can be off the drug.Other drugs for bp and diabetes needs to continued.This drugs are given to avoid effects of hormone deficiency after the surgery.
