How Long Does Meftal Take To Reduce Fever In A Child?

my child is 1 year old having high grade fever since 2 days as per pediatrician advise we have started syrup meftal 2.5 mg 12 hourly after effect wears off she again gets fever how long we should continue meftal? there are no ether symptoms initially she had vomiting but now not pl give your expert advise

At one year, fever should be treated by paracetamol as first line medicine.
If needed ibubrufen is next medicine. Due to side effects Meftal syp. is avoided. The action of Meftal lasts 8-12 hrs.
