How Long Does It Take For A Sesamoid Fracture To Heal?

I have a broken sesamoid bone in my right foot. How long does in injury like this take to heal? i was not put in a boot but was given a surgical shoe to wear around the house that immobilizes my foot.. I need exercise to remain sane and was wondering if swimming would be alright

Hi,

Swimming would be the right exercises but you have to consult your doctor whether you can use surgical shoe in water or if there is some substitute for surgical shoes to be used in water. Sesamoid bone normally takes 3 weeks to heal.
