How Long Can Lorazepam Be Taken For Anxiety And Sleeplessness?

Is is okay to take 1 or 2 Lorazepam a day for any length of time? I have had major life events over the past 2 years and find myself anxious and sleepless--kind of waiting for the next shoe to fall, so to speak. My doctor hesitated to prescribe this, but it does help the sense of impending doom that I live with right now because of all that has happened.

Lorazepam drug can cause dependence, taking it daily is not recommended. There are several medicines available which can take care of your anxiety without causing dependence on them.
