However, i would recommend you see the prescribing doctor once so that he can manage the dose for you according to previous doses. I also feel you should know the way Champix is to be taken. Once you buy Champix, set a quit date one to two weeks into your treatment as it takes about one week to start working properly in your body. Try not to delay quitting past 5 weeks into treatment. One tablet is to be taken at the same time each day. If you forget, take as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for next dose, skip the tablet you missed. Do not take double dose of this medicine. Most important is, you should take Champix for the full 12 weeks of treatment, even if you have stopped smoking. I am not sure if you followed this advise previous two times. Also, stay away from other nicotine replacement products and Zyban while on Champix. I hope this helps.
