How Important Is Rotavirus Synflorix And Preraner For A New Born Baby?
Hi doctor ..my son was born on 18th april.we took bcg +opv hep-b1 on 23rd april.Yesterday baby was given imovax polio and pentavac pfs vaccine.the doctor told me he we will have to give some more vaccination called rotravirus synflorix and preraner..wch costs around 4000 n 2000.just for second opinion is it really necessary..please suggest me the vaccinations required in 6 weeks ofbaby apartfrom imovax polio and pentavac pfs

Hi...your paediatrician did the right thing in suggesting you about the pneumococcal vaccine and I suggest you to go for Prevenar vaccine as it is more immunogenic that Synflurix. Moreover I also suggest you take the rotavirus vaccine too (Rotarix).
