How Does Cancerous Lung Fluid Get From One Lung To The Other?

hi'my dad has staga 3-b lung cancer and the doctors are inserting e pleural catheter into the lung with out the cancer tumor ( though this lung is filling up wi|h fluid that a biospy has determined is cancerous fluid) could you tell me how the fluid is getting from the left(cancer tumor) lung to the right lung

Your dad is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Aim of treatment during this stage is palliative chemotherapy with basic supportive care.
With palliative chemotherapy average survival time is from 6 to 9 months.
