How Does HIV And Hepatitis Spread?

I recently shared a cigarette with someone who I later found out was positive for HIV and Hepatitis. Its been a little over a week and I am now in bed with chills, bad stomach pain and am sleeping 15 hours at a time. I dont know if I am just sick or I have something. I am terrified.

Hello,
Thanks for the consult..

Brief answer,
HIV transmission - very minimum chance
Hepatitis B transmission - high chance

Explanation,
1. You mentioned that you shared a cigarette from a hiv and hepatitis infected person
2. The chance of getting hiv is very minimal through saliva from a cigarette except incase of open injury on the lips
3. The chance of getting hepatitis B is the high chance because the saliva contains hepatitis B virus more commonly
4. In your case hiv transmission is very minimal and hepatitis B transmission is at high chance

Hope this information helps
