How Do One Confirm Complete Recovery From Urinary Infection?

Hi I have a mild urinary infection. I had high fever but it has subsided after prescribed dosage of medicines by doctor. How do I know if the urinary infection is cured completely as I dont have any peculiar symptoms expect that I had high fever. THANK YOU.

Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

There are some other symptoms that can be experienced in an urinary tract infection.
-frequent urinating
-pain while urinating
-burning sensation while urinating
-small amount of urine
-changes in the color of the urine
-smelly urine

The ONLY way to tell if you got rid of the infection or not is if you do another urine test/urine culture at least 5 days from the last antibiotic pill that you took.
