My wife was vomiting due positional Vertigo problem about 3 months ago and reduced applying medicine. C T Scan is done , the report is A TINY CALCIFIED GRANULOMA IN LEFT FRONTAL CORTEX . My queries are ; what does it mean ? how serious is this ? what is the treatment required ? Regards,
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
A tiny calcified granuloma in frontal lobe usually does not require any treatment unless it is symptomatic, which is very rare. These indicate the old healed lesion. Vertigo and vomiting is unlike being due to this granuloma.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ramchandra Lamba
