General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that you have developed a fungal infection in your groin area. I would advise you to apply an antifungal cream like Miconazole in the affected area twice daily after cleaning the area and drying it properly. Keep the area dry at all times as accumulation of sweat or moisture will aggravate the infection. Avoid wearing any tight clothes and wear loose cotton undergarments. If the infection is not relieved with the local application, you may have to take an oral antifungal regime like tablet Fluconazole 150 weekly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman
