Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I read your query and I understand your concern. Ibuprofen is not an antibiotic is an anti-inflammatory drug for pain and fever. You may take antibiotics Doxycycline, Azithromycin and Flagyl; as antibiotics are effective at treating infections. Take one of this, if your doctor thinks it is necessary.

Hope this clarifies your concern. Thank you for the query.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
