Hello , my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Treatment for ulcerative colitis depends mainly on how bad the disease is. It usually includes medicines and changes in diet. Some medicine that are used to treat this diagnose are: -Immunomodulator medicines or cyclosporine. These strong medicines suppress the immune system to prevent inflammation. -Biologics. They block the inflammatory response in your body and help reduce the inflammation in your colon. -Surgery:d if other medicines don't control your symptoms. Of course, treatment should be given by a specialist. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
