How Can Trigger Fingers Be Treated?

I have trigger finger symptoms on my right hand ring finger. The doctor recommended a series of three steroid injections with Diprophos. I took one and my pain is almost gone when bending the finger. Should I take all three? Also is there any way of regaining flexibility of permanently bent middle and ring fingers in someone who has had it for more than 6 months (no pain)?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should complete the course of medication. You can attain flexibility but not fully, i.e. range about 70-80% by physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
