How Can Stiff Neck And Numbness On The Back Be Treated?

Hi, I woke up with a stiff neck Thursday morning. Just thought I slept in a wrong position. It has gotten progressively worse, that now I have constant discomfort, hot pain, and have numbness in the back of my neck on my left side. I have tried a heating pad and am taking Aleve. Any other treatment options. I am a dental hygienist and worried I won’t be able to work on Monday. Thank you.
