How Can Skin Burn On The Upper Leg Be Treated?
I spilled boiling water on my upper leg yesterday afternoon. I immediately put cold water towels on the the leg as it turned very red. In the evening I began seeing about maybe 10 blisters form on my leg. I went to bed and was careful not to move my leg and start popping the blisters. This morning I noticed a larger (3 inches by 7 inches) blister popped and water was running down my leg. I have shorts on today and no more blisters have popped. What medication do you suggest I put on the blister that has popped and subsequent blisters when they pop? Thank you. Dan B.

First thing to do is never break a blister, handle the burn area with clean hand to avoid any infection. Clean dt area with mild soap n water then apply any cream or ointment having silversulfadiazine with chlorhexidine antibiotics,for pain relief u can also use local lidocaine n alovera gel or ointment.
Cream burnorm ( having silver...chlorhex...alovera...) if available ..u can use it.
