General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Lercanidipine drug is in the same class as Norvasc drug, but have fewer side effects compared with it. You can use it for High Blood Pressure.

Metoprolol drug affects more Heart Rate than blood pressure. There are a lot of medications for high blood pressure. I suggest you go to see a cardiologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi
