How Can Shortness Of Breath Causes By Blood Pressure Medication Be Treated?

My doctor thinks I might need a pacemaker because of a reaction of shortness of breath to my blood pressure med I have taken for years. Metroponel? I had one heart monitor session and it was low so I need another in a month, after stopping this med. Not sure I see the relationship here. Marty
