How Can Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen And Back Be Treated?

I am suffering from severe upper stomach pain, burping, and back pain. I have already had my appendix removed. Mostly recently they thought it was from a Molar pregnancy. I did have a D & C and about 2 weeks later back in pain. I have had 4 children and this pain is unbearable. Worst then giving natural birth. Please help me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Considering the strong pain, and the fact that it didn't improve after D & C ,I think this may be related to some other important causes, as pancreatitis, or cholecystitis, gastroduodenal ulcer etc.
You must go to emergency room and consult a gastrohepatologist, also perform an abdominal CT scan and a gastroscopy(stomach endoscopy) for further investigation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
